1. Policy of privacy

MIRAHIPHOP is committed to respect the privacy rights of website visitors. The following policy describes how we collect, protect and use information we receive from website visitors. We also have a special paragraph below on the privacy of children.

2. What information do we collect?

When registering or ordering, we may ask you for your name, gender, date of birth, e-mail address, home address, zip/postal code, daytime and/or mobile phone number, as well as to create a user name and password. You will also be asked to opt-in to our e-mailing list. You will then be asked only for information necessary to process the transaction. Information provided by shoppers will be retained only as necessary to process the transaction and maintain MIRAHIPHOPs sales records and will not be used for marketing purposes.

3. How do we protect visitor information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. All sensitive information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

4. Do we use "cookies"?

Yes. Cookies are pieces of information that a site sends to your computer while you are viewing the site. We use cookies to provide us with aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third party service providers to assist us in serving cookies, however, they are not permitted to use the information collected except to help MIRAHIPHOP conduct and improve its business. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you will not have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient -- like the features mentioned above -- and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still access most of the features on MIRAHIPHOPs sites. As cookies are used by MIRAHIPHOP to track shopping basket items through the order and browsing process, so you will not be able to place an on-line order if you disable cookies.

5. Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties. We may also release your information when release is necessary to comply with the spanish law: (article 5 from the Organic Law 15/1999 of december 13th on Personal Data Proteccion) Non-personally identifiable visitor information in aggregate form may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

6. Children´s Privacy A special note to parents

We realize that many children will visit our site, and we therefore encourage children to consult with their parents before submitting any information to any website, including ours. We encourage parents to supervise their childrens online activities and consider using parental control tools available from online services and software manufacturers that help provide a kid-friendly online environment. These tools can also prevent children from disclosing their name, address, and other personal information online without parental permission.

7. How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?

To modify your e-mail subscriptions or completely opt-out of receiving MIRAHIPHOP e-mail please let us know by modifying your preferences in the "View or Change my Profile" section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may still receive any mailings that are already in production. To delete all of your MIRAHIPHOP online account information from our database, please contact us. Note that if you request your account information to be deleted from our database, we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
